Hi, i would like to know if there's some kind of official tested game list
for the ZVG. Someone tried Cosmic Chasm with sucess ?

I would like to start this project and make my ZVG working soon :)

Don't have a list but can confirm that Cosmic Chasm works on my ZVG setup. Obviously got no idea how close it is to the real thing but it's very playable.

Cosmic Chasm works great! All of the Vector games supported by MAME "work" in some sense. Here are the major limitations I have found:

Black Widow, Star Wars, Empire Strikes Back - All slow down at various points

Quantum - Hangs in a couple of instances

War of the Worlds - no sound

Space Wars, Lunar Lander, Speed Freak - Impractical to setup controls

Omega Race - Free play only

Major Havoc - Overrated, lame game (kidding!)

All of the Sega Games require a certain version of MAME for audio to be at a proper level. There are still minor annoyances like random games not supporting high score saves. Drop me a PM and I can set you up with a working config.

Off the top of my head, I will add:

Red Baron does not work with analog controls.
Top Gunner is either way too slow or crashes depending on mame version.
No sound samples for boxing bugs.

All in all, due to these issues (and others already mentioned) and unique control schemes, I have ended up just dropping about half of the games.

You can get sound in wotw, by the way. Make a copy of the star castle samples and rename it "wotw.zip" or "wotwc.zip" (depending on whether you're playing b/w or color) and place in the appropriate folder. All of the sounds in both sets have the same names, so it works. Don't know if it's accurate, but it sounds ok to me.

Oops. You are correct. I meant Boxing Bugs has no sound. WOTW works fine.

I had Red Baron working with VectorMAME using a Star Wars yoke. That was silly, so I stopped.

Thanks for all the input, i'm planning to start my ZVG vectormame project somewhere this year. :) It's been too long in the storage room !!

There are samples for Boxing bugs but they make the game crash when I use them in DVMame. Is there another version that they might work with and if so how do I get it to run from the menu?
