I just got my ZVG and I'm looking to put it together. I don't have access at the moment to a space dual or gravitar but I do have a Tempest cab and extra 6100. Has anyone set up a tempest with the ZVG and what layout where they using for the CP?

I really can't seem to find anyone that is using a Tempest for the ZVG.

Any suggestions?

I don't think that many people have gone that route because Tempest is a vertical game. There aren't too many other vertical vector games (Quantum?),nearly all the others are horizontal.

Thanks for the response, the cab will fit a 6100 horizontally (like the MH conversions)... I just figured it's what I have at the moment..

Post in the wanted section for a Space Duel Cab.They don't seem to difficult to find. I have an empty Gravitar and Space Duel cab which doesn't include my 5 populated ones.

Ah I get ya. I guess you could fit the buttons for a Gravitar like layout on the panel reusing the Fire and SuperZapper (the latter for Hyperspace/Tractor/Shield). Any more than that and the layout would get kinda messy imo. You be able to play a good number of the Vector games with that configuration.

Mame and the ZVG menu will both rotate their output to fit a vertical monitor, though admittedly you'll get a smaller picture on the horizontal games. Something to bear in mind though if you wanted to keep the cab original.
