Zoo Keeper (Dedicated) -

I'm giving up on this one. When I got it, the game worked, then it developed a CMOS error. I replaced the CMOS chips, and it still had the error. Then, I replaced every piece of socketed RAM....still had the error. Then, I bought a spare boardset and tried to swap things....but could never get it back to life.

I just don't have the time or willpower to deal with it any more. $650, and you get both complete boardsets along with the game.

Pics attached, and taken when it still worked. Should give you a good idea on how it looks.

Game is located in Union City, MI.

Pete

Don't give up on it man! They are a pain in the ass, but once you get it working again it will be worth it!! Have you tried replacing the ribbon cables? That's where most of the issues start from, also acid damage.. If you want me to take a look at your boards I'll be more than happy to..

Took me years to put my ZK together and I've had it running almost error free for about a year.. Only issue I have is the occasional high score memory loss.. Those CPU pcbs are touchy, little bit of voltage off and it will throw all kinds of errors.. Is there any acid damage?

Pm me if you want to talk ZK tech..

If there is a chance I can get it fixed, I'll keep it.

For now, it might be off the market.

Keep hope alive, I guess. If I strike out this time, though...
