I never paid too much attention to this issue due to the fact that I suck at Zookeeper but on my game, during the coconut stages, the bottom level never disappears. Our good Zookeeper players complain this makes the game easy as hell, so I was wondering if anyone has ever experienced this anomoly and if anyone knows where I should start checking to get the game playing correctly.

thanks in advance

Are there other in game settings besides animal speed? I couldn't find any within the manual.

Tried all 3 romsets in MAME. No luck man all the same, floor opened up.

In the end, it wound up being bad local memory on the data/sound board.
The bottom level on the coconut stage now disappears!

Conversely, from over swappin boardsets, roms, screen ram, and fudgin with the connectors now my game is no longer solid. It used play for hours with no issues (despite the bottom coconut level)

Now I get random resets, crazy multiple error codes, and I am just damn tired of Zeke.

I hate when getting a good deal on a 100% working boardset turns out to be paying way to much for a 100% will boot up and play for a while boardset.

arggg

Cool to hear that you fixed this problem.. sorry to hear that the board is acting flaky now.

I have a (different) machine that is suffering from exactly the same issue. Too much swapping has sent it into lala land, unfortunately. I'm hoping that I just wore out my molex connectors. These things are old, and it's easy to fatigue the pins.
