Zoo Keeper to Jamma Adapter Board (Available Now)

(FOR SALE NOW!!!!!!!!!!)

If I could get at least 4 people who are interested in this, Spaeth will make a board that
will be plug n play to convert zoo keeper to jamma without having to hack into your game or make harnesses. This will allow you to flip jamma games into your zoo keeper cabinet. If
anyone has interest in this, please let me know and post. I'm not sure on cost but it shouldn't be too bad. I need to guage interest first. I'm in!!! I think this would be great
to flip jamma boards into or original boards with jamma adapters.

Playing JAMMA games in my Zoo Keeper cabinet = zero interest.

Playing a reliable, JAMMA board version of Zoo Keeper in there (multi-board, ArcadeSD, etc.) = awesome.

Don't sign me up yet. But, because of the latter reason, should be good demand for this...

I would think there would be interest to those looking to convert a classic taito cab to a multi taito with the 10 and 20in1 boards (or at least in this case drop the multi taito jamma board into their zookeeper)

Im guessing my previous question all depends on pinouts...

Zoo Keeper is a 4-way joystick horizontal monitor game, which really doesn't match up with many other things you would want to plug into it.

I wish this would've existed prior to me getting a cabinet without the harness. Sounds like a great idea.

bump

I asked about classic taito and zoo keeper to jamma set ups. I'll get back to you all on
this. Hopefully Spaeth can make classic taito to jamma and zoo keeper to jamma.
This would prevent hacking into these classics.

How bad would the 4-way joystick affect a game like Rastan on the Taito multi-pcb? Actually, you couldn't play any game that uses 2 buttons and a joystick. So not all the games on a Taito multi-pcb would be 100% playable.

Somebody please make a list of JAMMA games that only require 1 button.

classic taito to jamma is easy. I built one myself a few years back. Not sure if zoo keeper style boards would be any more difficult as I've yet to try it with the qix board set I have. I'd imagine it's not too hard.

I would buy one for sure for my multi taito conversion... I have a cab but no CP for it yet... anyone have recommendations on best CP for multi taito?

Count me in for one of these. My ZK keeps dying and I'd love to have one these on hand in case a jamma version (other than Gameroom Classics) ever comes out.

We need someone to come up with a newer worry free Zookeeper boardset. I am getting tired of this boardset continuosly going down with no simple fix. I thought Mark Spaeth was working on this at one time, or a part of it anyway.

I *think* the ArcadeSD folks intend to get ZK on there at some point.

If so, there's another option...

They are ready! Very small run of ZK/Qix jamma adapters..

Mark has produced a few ZK/Qix jamma adapters. These will allow you to use a jamma muti taito or any jamma pcb in your ZK/Qix with original harness. He tested the prototype in my ZK and it works. They are $50 each plus shipping.

These only work with ZK/Qix harnesses.. I do have a few classic taito to jamma adapters available too. These allow you to run your classic taito pcb (ea, jk, fl, etc) in a jamma cab or if you've wired your taito cab to jamma.
Pm me if your interested in these or the ZK/Qix jamma adapters.

Here is a picture of the adapter:
