zoo keeper sideart.....

I've always felt that cheap ink jet is very superior to perfect reproduction silk-screening.

Sucks that someone apparently sent him a set of the quality reproductions to make that crap from, it's also somewhat offensive to see someone clearly rip off something that I spent many an hour drawing on top of what Zorg had started. I feel bad for anyone that buys it, the orange and blue in zookeeper are basically impossible to match on an inkjet worth a darn.

Looks like he actually printed something huh? Instead of just showing the art file or whatever.

yea, he's pretty shameless about taking things others did.. no doubt. The Venture, Mousetrap and Pepper 2 art he sells for example, are basically blown up thumbnails swiped from another KLOV'er.

is this even the same guy?
The other ebay inkjetter was Pasculia this is "digdug"
and his auctions have real pics, though his wording seems very similar.

looking over his auctions they are extremly "cheap" in price
full side art coverage, most of those are only around $100
But Proks right you cant really match ZK via inkjet
and its a shame that our hard work gets copied and used like that so often.

Wish you guys still had it available :(

as soon as I finish upwith some of Phoenix Arcades projects
and a few of my own projects SW, AgentX, and Red Baron
Id really like to revist this again with ProK
I still have all my orginal Films and color samples I intially did for all this
sides and kick.

Um... are those supposed to be stencils? Just sayin'.

the best solution IMO would be to offer these as UNWEEDED cut stencils.
which means the stencil would be premask to apply to the cab
then you remove the premask and peel out all the parts and tiny specs that need to be painted.

To me this would be better then the silkscreened vinyl.
I know Prok didnt want to offer them as stencils becasue of how time consuming the weeding is.

but if the customer were to do it after it was applied...

I think you're getting pastucia/artworkdoctor mixed up with digdug!. THey are NOT the same person, digdug! is a good guy. Pastucia (member galaga here) steals images and vectors off the net.

Digdug! uses solvent inkjet (or spot color... can't remember) but it is no Artworkdictor stuff.

Stealing or copying artwork makes him just as bad.

I for one do not mine weeding. In my book restoration or rebuilding, still calls for making the arcade project as close to original as possible.

What kind of material are the cut stencils? I haven't dealt with those before. I am assuming it is different than cut vinyl. I have been considering doing a scratch built ZK cabinet for another project of mine and I have access to a vinyl cutter and thought I might be able to make a stencil out of vinyl. I will have to do all of my own vector work of course. The sides should be doable, but the kick plate is hard to find a good reference image for.

...just to clarify, I am not going to distribute it in any way.
