Just got in a complete dedicated non working Zoo Keeper that I am converting to 48 in 1. Any interest in parts? Marquee and bezel look good, control panel has cracking along rounded front edge, power supply is working. Also have very good condition original manual, unused coin tray divider, unopened spare parts bag. I will consider selling whole machine and just look for another cabinet in my area. Any offers?

it would be a sin to kill a complete zookeeper to make a multi out of it. I have a complete non working midevil madness i'm parting out so I can make it an ultrapin!

I have to agree with the others. Even though I'd like the ZK parts, VAPS and KLOV are dedicated to preserving arcade games, not destroying them.

Wow, that really blows. Are you going to pain it black over that crappy zookeeper side art?

Whoa... Man that sucks...
A "DEDICATED" zookeeper into a multi... hahahah. thats gonna look like shit.

Jon

I can't sit here quietly anymore. I did add to the post that I would sell the machine whole and not one person who is so concerned about me parting it out has come forward with any kind of offer at all. If you really care about preserving this machine "Put your money where your mouth is". I didn't post the machine to be insulted. BTW here are some pics to see what your missing out on.

With all due respect Bob, you come to an Arcade Preservation website and post a FS ad about parting and multi'ing a game that is widely considered a classic, and for no reason other than killing it (w/ a multigame). What did you think was going to happen?

...

Those Taito style cabs look pretty bad as multi's.
Actually I would take all the parts from you. email me with a price.
thats marquee, bezel, control panel, boards and harness.

just so you know Pinball Bob, im offended that you're converting a rare / collectible game.

What do you need out of it to sell it whole as it is?

In Bob's defense, the other way to look at "arcade preservation" is taking parts from one machine to complete another. So I don't think Bob is doing anything wrong, or anything against arcade preservation. If somebody in another state just needs a few parts from his machine to complete theirs, then he's helping them to preserve their machine and they didn't have to pay the extra money for shipping a whole machine they didn't need.

I like that Bob said, "Put your money where your mouth is". Don't complain, unless you're willing/going to do something about it. Otherwise it's the same as saying nothing.

Just my 2 cents, as are everyone's opinions for and against parting out a "classic".
