I think i read a while back that silk screened repro bezels and marquees are going to be in the works. any status update on this? my bezel is missing some major chunks.

pretty sure marquees are in the works and I believe Rich of This Old Game is doing them for either Quarter Arcade or Phoenix Arcade. Not sure which but one of the two. I know the bezels have been talked about but I don't believe anyone said for sure they were gonna be done. I think TOG could do a solvent ink jet on glass if someone has a good quality image of the bezel art or better yet a vector image of the art.

These should be silk screened on glass or wait until there's demand to do it that way. As much $ as ZK commands, the repros should be authentic as possible.

i'm convinced i'll never fully get this project restored on not having any sideart alone...the bezels sound expensive to do also.

Keep looking man

Took me 15 years to score one man.. Over those years I slowly stockpiled enough parts to almost build (2) and enough pcbs to keep them running forever :)

Missed a few over the years cause I had no interest in paying 1k or more.. Finally scored a complete ZK, in decent shape.. I'll be first in line for a repro glass marquee and bezel when they are produced.. As mine are in typical flaking shape :(

That's good to know. *IF* I could ever find a ZK then I'd be in for everything - even if I didn't need it - just to support the effort.

I got lucky and snagged the side art when it was still available. I built my cabinet front scratch and it's just about perfect. The CPO is brand new. The marquee, however, is a cheap repro and the bezel is nice but just barely starting to flake.
I'd buy both if reproduced.

Unfortunately, my ZK is not currently working...haven't had a chance to look into it.

What I'd love more than anything is to see the board reproduced or the game added to a multi board. I just want it to work. I have one of the Taito Gameroom Classics, but I don't want all those games in the ZK cabinet and there's no way to eliminate the other games or have it boot straight to zoo keeper.

Ugh... 15 years? I've got to hand it to you man - that's commitment. I've been on the hunt for 3 years (and counting) now, so I'm hopeful something will eventually turn up. It was one of the games that I vividly remember from my youth and I love it.

Yeah, i cannot justify $1K for it (or any other title that I know of). I'll just have to keep looking.
