I saw Zombie Raid exactly once in arcades and I played one credit, got killed too quickly and never played it again.

I've never played a game that was more out to steal your quarters than this lol

but when quarters aren't changing hands? Suddenly the game becomes way more enjoyable. It's definitely a B tier game but considering it's an extra gory horror light gun shooter I can't help but enjoy it even if the art style is a bit mismatched and the conditions to see the ending are obscure AF.

Anyone remember this one in arcades? Seems to have started off rare and just become rarer. Perfect to check out during the Halloween season though!

I owned a zombie raid and I loved the artwork on the cabinet and the pump shotguns. I used to roll thy sucker out to the driveway on Halloween 🎃 and the kids would play the hell out of it. I enjoyed owning it, but then again I was also a huge fan of Operation wolf and operation thunderbolt. For sure a quarter sucker.

I was looking to buy a ZOMBIE RAID used "kit" or whole machine. And much like you when I got the chance to play it at D&B's....the game was VERY difficult and it does not last very long....kind-of unenjoyable in my mind.

That was enough to end my search for the game.

It's a fun game at home with unlimited coin ups but man does it hurt ! If you play to the end your hands will ache like crazy ! Had one years ago it's definitely worth owning for awhile but not a keeper unless you want it around for an art piece .
