anyone know where to get zenner diodes only number on it is c9v1ph, it's for a martin fog machine but thought I'd ask here. They won't tell me the part number or the spec's only sell me a replacement board for 200.00. I need two of them but will order more if need be. I can cross it if I only use c9v1 but there are 3 different replacements and I have no idea how to tell which I need.

9v1 will be the voltage (9.1 volts)

The physical size will usually tell you what current rating it is (watts) but if you went with a 1W I'm certain that would work for most applications - if you want to post a pic I can confirn but as a rule 1W diodes will be about 6mm long and usually glass.

If the one fitted is physically smaller it could be a 400mw etc BUT the 1W will do the job just as well in 99% of applications.

What makes you think it's faulty?

Oh - and Zener is with a single "n"…...

Thank you

I think it is bad because I have three of these boards one works two do not, so I went two testing all the components there are only a hand full and when I read the good one with a mm in diode setting I get a reading when I read both the nonworking units I get no reading. That would indicate it's bad right?

Personally, I do NOT use digital meters for checking components. I use both an analog meter and my expensive Huntron Tracker (scope) to test diodes. However, it sounds to me like you have open diodes on your non-working units.

what model

what model tracker do you use what model do you recommended? I'm interested in getting one some day?

I use a model HTR-1005B. This model has been obsolete for some time now, but I like it for it's simplicity. You can find them on ebay.

The model 2800 is the latest one and quite pricey.

Huntron has tutorials on there website on how to use the Trackers as well as their other products.

thanks everybody

That was the part I needed 10.00 shipped from England with extras saved me 200.00. Dam martin is crazy but I guess most people just pay the money.

why shipped from England? ANY electronics part house would stock this diode - it isn't rare or hard to find? You probably could have bought it locally for well under $1 over the counter?

Not here

No one stocked it here plus no locale electronics stores to me gas at 5.00 a gallon how much would I save. I got all I needed brought to my home for 10.00.
