Hey guys, Got a gutted cabinet with a zenith tube in it, no chassis, no isolation xformer. According to the sticker on the inside of the cabinet, it's a "Gauntlet 3d 27in - USA"

The tube has:
Zenith 100-00809-09
a68agd01x
04rc0156 - 008

on it, while the frame has:
25x3299-00 I-G

The tube doesn't look physically damaged, and I'd like to try to use it. Can anyone point out a compatible chassis for this?

Thanks,
James

Cool. I'll see if I can find one locally. Thanks for the quick response.

what are the part#'s on the yoke and what does it ohm out on both pairs.

this is very important info as the yokes are different between the 7400 and 7500.

if it us a 25" 7400 i have one ready to ship.

fully rebuilt and burn tested.

if it is a 25" 7500.

i have two 7500 chassis rebuilt and tested with an old fly-back.
i removed the old fly so they both need one.

PM me if you are interested.

Peace
Buffett

Its probably a 27" monitor not 25", just a heads up. The other thing to note is that I have only seen 7500 chassis in Gauntlet cabinets, but to be sure, as Buffett said, I would check the yoke wires for ohm reading and post back here.

Ohm readings are 0.7 ohms and 9 ohms. The part number for the yoke is 9A3003-1 Sanyo Mex 9839. I believe its a 27 inch.
The cabinet seems to be a Gauntlet Legends or Gauntlet Dark Legacy that was converted to a Carnival King for some reason. That points to the monitor being medium resolution. I don't suppose there's a way to use standard res games on this monitor? If not, then I don't really have a use for the tube and will likely give it away to someone in the DFW area and will be looking for a std resolution replacement.

Thanks,
James
