Quite possibly the most expensive project I have ever embarked upon. Not
necessarily the cost of the ZVG, but the snowball it created.

I bought a Zektor Vector Generator from a fellow member on these boards
a while back. I paid a little more than I wanted to, but the guy was cool as
hell and I was happy to donate some cash his way.

I bought a non working Sega Star Trek convertacab from Copious and sacrificed her
to the Zektor Gods.
Being a huge fan of Space Fury I coughed up the loot for a Space Fury Marquee from one guy, an average condition cardboard Space Fury Bezel from another, and got bent over and ridden from another chap on a complete control panel that the art was not too bad on.
I couldn't even use it for a scan to repro. (i'll get ya back biotch)

Well after playing Space Fury, Major Havoc, Star Trek, Star Castle, Space Duel, etc.. I have gone vector nuts...

In the last 3 months I have spent more money on top dollar games than I ever thought I would.

Don't get me wrong the ZVG and the mame emulation is cool, and good for what it is, but once again it does not hold a candle to playing on the original hardware.

Sine I got my ZVG project up and running I have added to my collection these dedicated vector games;

1)A minty Star Wars with an original Ampliphone... After seeing how bad a 6100 looks in comparison my old machine was an embarrassment
2)A dedicated Star Trek. The sounds and feel are just not right in emulation.
3) A dedicated Space Fury. One of my holy grails (ok I said it!)
4) An Omega Race Cockpit. probably one of the most popular games in my arcade right now.
5) Space Duel picked one up but it needs a working pcb
6) my KLOV brethren Brian Wickedbass and Scotty Doyle picked up a Major Havoc for me last weekend. Ever since I started playing it I just had to have the real thing..

If the screennames were not already taken I would probably be switching to Vectorjunkie or Vectorman or Vectordude ....

guys.. seriously, I need help... someone setup an intervention on my behalf.....................

Vector Mania

Heh, don't ask for help from me. Better than half my vids are vectors. I think you need a minty Quantum or dedicated Major Havoc for starters.

Never a truer statement has been said. :D
The closest thing I have to a Multi Vector is a Clay Cowgills Multi- SEGA installed in one of my 3 Star Treks.
I am still hoping one day Clay or someone will finish this project and make the all in one sound board so you can play all the games without having to swap sound cards.

I miss our multi-Sega that was in a dedicated Star Trek cab. :(
