This one is hard for me to find information on - so I turn to you all for help! My Jack Rabbit has worked fine - and recently the image became stuck (see photo). I checked power and felt it was fine (it's been a few months since I've checked). I recently pulled every chip on the board and cleaned the legs - and still the same thing. It comes on - but the image is stuck. The monitor desperately needs rebuilt so let's not factor that in!

Does this seem like ribbon cables to you all? There are numerous ribbon cables - but wiggling them produces no new results. I've taken them off and sprayed them with deoxit - but I kind of expected a little different image.

Anyways - please check out my image and see what you think might be the cause?!

Yes, this is a tough one, due to limited documentation. As suggested, use Money Money schematics. I gathered info for Mike and Brett, but there isn't much.

Did you check for activity on cpu pins? eproms pins? Is the reset input stable? and so on...
Nobody will tell you here change IC at position X and your game will magically work again. There is some work you have to do. Work that can be guided by other forum members.
Anyway I have an Jackrabbit PCB that I might sell if you are into buying.

If he's not interested, I know someone that is. ;) Not me, but another local.

Hopefully, we can get the OP pointed in the right direction.

@Constellation, What additional troubleshooting have you done? Using MAME ROMs, you should be able to compare the ROMs.

I have no ability - nor knowledge to know how to test ROMs! I found some documentation that looked similar and he had the problem with the ROM. So I figured it would be a good place to start.
