Was thinking and wanted to make myself and everyone else feel better.. Post here that you regretted that you sold or trade and wished you could have kept first place.

heres my regret...

I traded Starwars for some cash plus common cabinets and now I cant order ESB from vectorlab until i find another Starwars! It was some issue came and I had to let it go!!! I realize I could have kept and o well. Gackattack- Enjoy that Starwars! =)

I sold Space Duel in kinda Mint conditon and kept the worst one!. I should have kept minty one and sell worst one!!!!!

I traded HUO Termiantor 3 for Getaway in good condition..Stupid of me. Should have kept Terminator 3 Stern HUO!.

mine was my sea wolf. swapped that and a combatribes in a 3p jamma cab for a TMNT pin. the pin was fun, and i enjoyed playing it, and i had no remorse over the deal, but i do miss the sea wolf.

For me it was my strata bowling, you know the one you roll the ball under the monitor and then the ball appears on the screen. I sold it on ebay years before I knew about CL or this place a guy drove from louisiana to pick it up and ive never seen another since!

I'm THINKING about trading out my Mad Planets for something I like more, but I KNOW that I would immediately regret it, particularly considering the amount of time I put into refurbing it...

Sold my Mario Bros (WB) b/c we needed the cash. It went to a local friend who isn't a regular collector so I'm starting to push him to see if he at all wants to sell it back to me.

All of them........ Journey, Timber, EPROM, Tron, Bank Panic, Tapper, DK cocktail (my first)....and many many more..... Sigh!!

mario bros widebody, the first game i ever bought
colony 7 i haven't even seen another one in socal since
huo defender
dedicated brix
ect
ect
ect

Atari 720 (was a nice minty one)
new one not nearly as nice

Dragons Lair (got for 600 bucks in MA) :( still trying to get another

HUO Gauntlet Legends (thing was a purple monster but it was quite nice)

Sold a Splat cocktail because I was moving from KC to Detroit back in '94. I had no idea it was so rare...I bought it at an arcade auction for $300. It was in pristine condition.

I'm still sick about selling it.

A Donkey Kong, it was my first arcade game. I was at a friend of a co-workers having some suds after work one summer afternoon, and out of the blue my friend points me in the direction of a nice looking DK that was farther back in the garage, and said' "you can hear it play, but can't see anything." I was, ok, lets fire it up. Sure enough, sounds were present, but you couldn't see jack. And as it was playing, with me curiously looking at the innards of the machine, a dude comes over and says, "hey, that's mine, $50.00 and it's yours." I said cool, handed him the cash and we loaded it in the back of my truck.

Got it home, got online to locate a 20EZ manual, twisted the brightness knob and had crystal clear image!

Had it for a couple of years, then the "better half" put her foot down and I sold it. Darn shame.

Defender pinball.. I am going to miss it. But it needed good restore beyond my ability..

Joust pin and dedicated mystic marathon also will be missed..

Oh yeah, pics or I don't really regret it. I miss the DK Jr. too.

I miss my DOT the most. I made a buck or two on the sale, but just knowing how hard it will be to replace it makes it hurt.

I'm pretty sure I've shared my story on here, but I bought a Vs. Unisystem gray cab Castlevania at auction in Kalamazoo, MI, fully working for $150 I think. It was nuts. CP looked brand spanking new, monitor was perfect, side-art was good, Marquee was good, not faded or busted up. Did have a chunk out of the back right from someone jacking it open. Loved it for a while, ended up not playing it forever. Decided I could use the cash at the time, so I sold it.

This is actually my 2nd round as a game collector. I went through a spell in the early 00's then sold it all - 5 years later started buying it again. LOL I have this demon inside of me (either that or common sense) that tells me if I don't use something for so long, I need to get rid of it because it's a waste.

I sold a Tron mini several years ago. Worked well, cabinet was in good shape, but it needed a new control panel overlay. That was before the reproduction mini cpo's were available. I wish I had that one back.

While I can't say that I regret any of my trades, the game that I miss the most is my Creature From The Black Lagoon pin.
