Mines in the head unit itself, looks like this one. The changer jammed awhile ago and I basically had to break it to save the CD's stuck inside.

Aftermarket will be a PITA. My car is wired for the MACH sound system and has a very specific harness for it. Either way, my head unit still works, just dosent have a CD changer anymore

No problem at all.
I have an '04 Mustang with the Mach system and replaced the head unit with an Alpine unit that controls my ipod.
You just need a harness adapter and your good to go.

I also build sci fi models.
I mostly like Irwin Allen subjects like The Jupiter 2,Seaview and such.
I am currently finishing up a Spindrift from Land Of The Giants.
On deck is The Space Pod from Lost In Space,The Jupiter 2 and then The big 36" USS Enterprise from Moebius Models.
All will be fully lit and be very close to the actual filming models.

I like backpacking. The freedom of food, shelter and clothing on your back-everything you need and own you can just walk away with. I hiked from Manning Provincial park in British Columbia to the Columbia river at the Oregon border on the Pacific Crest trail one summer 433 miles.

I will get around to my Polar Lights Big "E" one of these days.
I really want to build my Moebius 18'" Jupiter 2 first.
It will have all the bells and whistles.
I am even going to motorize the flight console radars and navagaton tapes.
Hopefully the central astrogator too.
I have so many kits and aftermarket parts for them to keep me busy for years.
This damn hobby called Arcade collecting has really interrupted the modeling one.
