Ok, my turn to post a generic question post :). Of all the stuff you have today in your collections what is your favorite piece? Doesn't have to be a game, just something that you're happy you have that's gaming/pop culture related. For me it's my Mold A Rama.IMG_6491.jpeg

Mold a rama... like from a chicago science museum?

So many things to choose from. And so many things that are hidden away in boxes. The answer changes every time something like this comes up.

Today, thinking of all of those boxes? I think it's my 1-off pencil drawing of Dirk and Daphne that Don Bluth did for me. I'll try to post a picture if I can dig it out soon.

Think my favorite is this little planter my dad and I built to go between the pinball machines. I just really like how it looks in the room

Honestly, probably my scratch built Atari cabarets. Knowing that I was able to make 4 perfect copies from an original Atari cabaret, then source all original interior parts, then have all custom artwork designed and printed for games that never existed in this form, is really satisfying. The weird part is, as these cabinets age and we get further and further away from the time that I built them, it's almost impossible to imagine that I was the one who made these happen.

I love it!
Looks like the type of decor you'd see in a mall during the late 70's / early 80's!
Thanks! That's exactly the look I was trying to go for. Kind of a cross between that and how the interior of the pizza place "Great Plains Sauce and Dough" in Ames Iowa is setup inside. They've got a few little planter areas like that with wood paneling on all the walls and the last time I was there I was like "that would be perfect for the basement!"

to follow @Coin Mech's post ... i can hear the ambient, downtempo Muzak™ playing and smell the cigarettes and greasy food court just looking at the picture.
the artificial flora as well. like a time capsule.

Probably my Rainier Beer sign.

I've drank a lot of Rainier over the years. While out on a 10 mile dog walk one day I found it in a box on the side of the Burke-Gilman trail.

It happened to be one of the rare days I was wearing a backpack while out walking, and the sign fit in it perfectly. Got it home, and it worked 100%.

It was just so random to find a working sign, for the beer I've probably drank the most of, for free.
