Your favorite Capcom 194X Game? (1942 1943 1944 etc.)

With the exception of 1943 I've only dabbled in the 1943x series. I really love 1943 a lot, it's my favorite all time vertical shooter, and I've played it quite a bit. But recently I've been playing the shit out of 1942, and getting a new appreciation for it. I find the later games too crowded for my tastes, but I also haven't played them that much.

So what's your favorite?

1941: Counter Attack
1942
1943 Kai
1943 The Battle Of Midway
1944: The Loop Master
1945
19XX

Also, which 194x cabs do you own? How much do you play them? What's your favorite looking?

Definitely 1942. 1943 has the simultaneous game play which is a big plus, but I just played 1942 so much more, and that cheesy single-note music really sticks in my mind. I hope to have a 1942 in my gameroom in the future.

In full disclosure, I own the 1942 on a multi. I've really been digging it, and would be open to finding a decent-priced cabaret. Also your right, that "tick tick tick..." music sticks in your head. I've been playing it a few times a day for a week or so and I've gotten a score of 194,xxx (but I know I can do better).

1943 is my personal favorite, perfect balance between challenge and fun. 1944 would be my runner-up, but it's quite a departure from where the series started. 19XX would be my least favorite, and 1945 is Strikers (Psyko), not really in this series. Kai is a bit dull, but '41 is a good run.

the only game in my house i am actually good at is 1942

and to answer your other questions i had a 1943 sold it fast. mine is in a dig dug cab i think.

im trying to get someone to do some custom full sideart for this cab. its the first one i owned it wont be going anywhere.
