I have all of my games set for the attraction noise to be on. It gives me the feeling that I have more games than I actually do when they are all playing against each others sounds. I was wondering, anyone else have theirs turned on or off and for what reason?

I only have one game that is capable of attract sound so it stays off. The other thing is that my "arcade" is in a room that gets frequent traffic and used for other things that just playing games. The noise factor becomes annoying to anyone else (mostly just the wife) in the house.

Right now, my Q*Bert is the only one making noise, and it won't once I get it out and change it. Right now i have to open the coin door to shut it off because it drives me nuts....

my games have all the attract sounds off. I'd love to have them on but because the games are in the basement under the kitchen and the dinning room I can't if I want to stay married. :D

About half and half. Some are annoying, like my Shaq Attaq pin, so it stays on minimal attraction. But then there are times when a phrase comes on during a conversation that fits perfectly, and gets laughs, so good and bad.

I'm not sure which of my games even has that noise factor. I know my Star wars does that about it.

Which of these games are supposed to make noise in attract mode? I wouldn't know because
these games are broken.

Crazy Climber
Tetris
Speed buggy

I'd have em' all blaring if they could though.

mine that are on: tapper, donkey kong, donkey kong jr., popeye, did dug, rolling thunder. very cool but that old suzanna song can get old quick! and the best is the popeye(my dog sings along when it comes on)

All of them that can have attract sound do have it turned on. I think that is all but Frogger. But yeah, it really makes my gameroom(s) seem alive. No other way option.

I try to keep all my attract sounds going. With the exception of the multicade stuff. That music sounds terrible.

They're all on with the exception of Spy Hunter.

It's the exception because it uses a rechargeable battery for saving high scores and settings and it needs to be recharged every so often and I'll leave it on for hours at a time while it charges.

I like the music but I don't like hearing it for hours and hours at a time, if you know what I mean. :)

Off... since the games are in virtually every room of the house, there would be no peace and quiet anywhere if I left them on.

All are off.... and loving it.:)

i keep most of mine off especially the older ones. Dont like the thought of having the sound chips working all the time IMHO. . The newer games i have attract sounds on.

Even some of my games like DOT or krull even though you turn the attract off, they still make some sort on noise!!..

I love attract mode sounds. Everything I have that has them has them turned on. I'm working on Pole Position right now, not because I like the game... I just want the *beep beep beep booooooooop* sounds.

So far I have Galaga, Ice Cold Beer, Golden Tee, Rush n Attack (or Time Pilot 84... depends on what board I have in), all with attract mode sounds... Once I get Tron back home, I'll be pulling the resistor that cuts off sounds in attract mode on it as well.

The only game I have that I REFUSE to turn sounds on in attract mode, is Route 16... 15 minutes of that music will make you want to strangle a puppy... no joke.
