You guys better jump on this auction

Bottom line is it's worth whatever someone out there is willing to fork out for it, 10 grand or 10 dollars. All it takes is for the one dormant guy to crawl out from under a rock and throw a gigantic wad of cash on the table at the right time, not caring how much, or what it's worth, or if he can beat the top score, or if he could flip it for more than he paid for it. All he cares about is the quickest way to get it home so he could remember how great he felt when he used to play that game which gave him a cheek to cheek grin when he was much younger.
 
I worked for a guy in the late 90's that would constantly get $5-$7k for fairly common but in nice shape pins. The typical nice video left his shop in the $3500-6k range all the time. He didnt have people busting his doors down but he did have 5-10 sales a week. Christmas was a mad house around there. He would usually bring in another guy to help sell and I had help for deliveries and service.

This ain't the 90s though. Prices have come down. Hell even Dale's only asking $1300 for Asteroids:
