Picked this up dirt cheap today and have to say I've never seen one before. It's a pretty damn cool game and plays just like Zaxxon! Looks to be a dedicated Bally but the PCB was made by Sega

Thats dedicated, good game and you dont see them that often, i have one here, and it took awhile to find it

It even has a one of kind coin door...looks like a Midway\Williams door. :p

Its my understanding that that is the third game in the Zaxxon series IIRC. FYI, you can swap the game over to Zaxxon or Super Zaxxon as the pinouts should be the same.

Yeah that's what I thought, the boards are identical.

I see, problem is I have a whole dedicated machine which I don't think I'd want to part out.

no reason to part it I just posted a link to a future spy board in his thread if he wants to buy it. Dedicated cabs might not be all that common but I don't think the boards are super rare.

If not for the tags inside, I'd have said either:

Sure... I understand that. In this case, 'dedicated' means a marquee. Everything else to do with the cabinet is actually generic Midway. While that may be the cabinet that they used for Future Spy, I have seen several other games in an identical 'dedicated' cabinet. In fact, I have one in a barn right now.

No worries. If you decide to move the PCB along at some point... I'm sure you'll find some interest.

I don't know how many where made but yours is a few ahead of mine. Mine is not working, got it with a smoking transformer so I need to wire up a switched PS soon and get it working. My cab looks to be in the same condition as yours though. Nice find!

I bought the slot machine too, nice guy. Thing is Mike I bought it on Sunday but he helps with his church alot so that's why he prob did not contact you via e-mail. He said there were a bunch of dudes that called but they never showed up or answered his calls. I guess one guy said he'd take em and come by last week but never showed! I saw it Sat night, called him, picked em both up Sunday around 4ish. Now the sweet part was he just wanted them both gone so I picked em both up for $125!!!...$124, I was short a buck.:p

Well I guess we just need to get your gameroom finished that way you can buy all the games and I will just come over and get my fix. Put that drywall and lumber order in and lets start pounding some nails.

The sideart and CP graphics are the same that Bally / Midway used for their "6-pack" series of machines. Looks like the Bull Fight I used to have...
