I got a brand new flyback and it has a rip in it. I must of done it while discharging and didn't notice. What do you do in a situation like that? replacing it with another brand new flyback my only option?

I've never ripped my annode cap but I've completely forgotten to plug it in!! 2 weeks ago we had a monitor on the bench to test and i smelled this nasty burning smell and heard the worst high pitch squeal. I was pissed no picture came up! Nobody died but it was quite hilarious when we found out it was laying there next to the tube!
