You decide; what will it become?

Go with your heart man...choose what YOU want to play. You shouldn't have to ask.

If it WAS up to me, I'd go Vs System. I don't have one personally and nearly all the Nintendo lineup already, so yah.

don't know what you own. If you don't have a DK I would probably go that route. Although I do agree with others that a VS would be the cheapest option as you only need the monitor and a marquee.

I'd say make it into.....a RADAR SCOPE! YES!!! Seriously,I'd go with VS. The wide range of games makes it a great choice.Plus most of the games available are pretty cool and personally I think Popeye is a pretty mediocre game.

After all this time, I still don't see why there isn't a multi Nintendo board. Not a vs or unisystem, but a multi board.

I never liked the playchoice because of the timer.

And to one of the posters above: The DK craze will never be over!!!!! :)

Is that a fiberboard cab? If so put lot's of lighter fluid on it and light a match.......

Say, have you considered Choplifter? :)

I mention is because it seems to me that I've seen more Choplifters than anything else. I figure the smart people must be onto something.

LOL

DK2!!

It sure is. My original DK had a plywood cabinet, but this one has the particleboard. And that funky off-set molding deal. Has lots of bondo and paint on it already.

Having the smaller monitor in a Nintendo upright cabinet would bug the hell out of me. I already have a DK, so if it was me, I would go with Vs. and put either Dr. Mario or Excitebike in it. Back in the day, I played Mario Bros. in a blue cabinet, so I would likely go that way as well.

Might as well make it a 6-button fighter - and while you're at it why not make it a Street Fighter The Movie conversion. You know probably one of THE BEST fighters made...

My original DK cab was the same, it was crumbling apart badly, I did score an original plywood DK cab that I was able to resto and swap mine into, it just seemed like it would have been a losing battle trying to make the fiberboard cab work, but hey best of luck ;)

I got it I got it! We can have IvanTT dress it up with some purdy vinyl graphics, and it can be a front yard sign/monument for Phet's place! It can say "PHET's HOUSE - Follow the other 12 signs to the arcade!" Maybe even have a pretty bird feeder on top?

:D :D :D

I would go for the Popeye personally. Take it back to where it started.

DKII is another good one. You could also do a Vs. Super Mario Bros.

I never really understood the playchoice 10 or most of the Vs. games. Most of them are just NES ports. The vs. Super Mario Bros was different in the arcade. Or you find another vs. game that was different in the acade and go with that.
