I just picked up a side-of-the-road TV whose tube is a good match for my K7000. I'm hoping to hit the jackpot by not having to swap the yoke, but after 30 minutes of searching and reading, I can't get clear in my head how close the impedance needs to be in order to be compatible. Here's what I measured:

K7000:

2.3 ohms, 13.2 ohms

Donor Tube:

3.0 ohms, 14.5 ohms

Is this compatible, or will I get smoke if I try it?

Thanks!

The verdict is in...

The yoke and degaussing wires on the new tube had the newer style connectors, so I ended up having to splice in the old ones...but it's producing a beautiful picture.

Thanks for the confirmation Oryk!
