Have no power in my 20EZ monitor. Worked fine before. Everything appears to be grounded and connected. I have no power, at all. No neck glow. Nada.

Is there a fuse that I'm missing? The power supply and transformer are good, cause they work perfectly in my other cab, when I tested them. Soooooooo........ Any ideaers?

I agree with the flyback. I have the same thing, no power on a Sanyo. I have to get a hold of a flyback to verify fully.

Check your chassis, too. I had the same issue, and it turned out there was a hairline crack in the main chassis board that was causing it to not work at all. Just like you said, no power, no neck glow, nada.

Point taken. Did you replace the entire chassis and it worked? Not a bad fix then.

When you replaced the fly... did you replace other components as well? I just busted out a cap kit on this 20EZ and it looked GREAT...until it stopped working. I suspect the Fly. Also, where did you get the fly? Bob doesn't seem to carry them.

Sup Frizz? Just want to start by saying, I'll take the last "treat" on your avatar, anyday!

I havent taken the monitor apart yet. Getting ready to order the cap kit from BR. Might as well do that since the monitor has issues! ;) I saw a (I believe) NOS flyback on Ebay for $40. Guy has (4) available. Didnt know if that was a fair price, cause it's my first time buying one. Thoughts? No link yet, as Frizz just reminded me of where I was gonna scoop one.

That's not a bad price for that flyback.

The monitor chassis has two fuses. Check them. If F301 is blown....you probably have a bad flyback....and maybe a bad HOT, also.
