Hauling Tip:
The way to fit a fullsized video game into an Edge is to:
(1) Move the passenger seat allllllllll the way forward.
(2) lay the game on its side with the tall part towards the passenger seat.
(3) PUSH. HARD. Then push some more. It will fit. But not by much.

I did something similar to that with a Taito Crazy Climber in a Subaru Outback, so I know where you are coming from. Also once put 2 pinball machines and an Atari Football into a Dodge Durango.
