yesterdays pick up

Wow. Very dangerous to haul games like that. Next time make 2 trips and avoid the chance of causing serious damage to yourself and others. One hard swerve and those tie downs wouldn't have held - maybe the tailgate would have let loose too. Please tell me you didn't take it on a highway or over 45 mph.

We went the majority of the way on backroads then hit the highway for the last 30 minutes. I was maxed out at 60mph.

If I loaded up my 4 bangin' Ranger like that, I wouldn't get out of the driveway. Its a great little pickup but it bogs down on hills with one game in the back.

The last load of four I did was in a ford ranger 4cyl and it was horrible. That thing had less power then the frontier and used allot more gas . I stopped three times for gas on a two way trip, rediculous. I would be going uphill and the truck just would not downshift to get up to speed. Glad that things gone.

wow, really unsafe.. I don't know how small your truck is, but you might have been able to fit the last 2 side by side.

Side by side would never work in that truck it's not even a full size,it's as base model as you can get. If you think my load was unsafe ,you should see some of the loads that the previous owner of these does. His tailgate overhang is worse than any I have ever seen on almost every load and he stacks high.

The coin box could have been a flat tire for someone as heavy gauge as it is. At least over under coin boxes are the most common out there. I have to echo everyone else, looks pretty risky to haul so many at once. But I prob. Would have done it too, and drove like grandma all the way home.

We were looking to see if anyone was on the side of the road after someone hit it and it was clear the whole way. There was no way I was gonna do a two way trip 5 hr trip

Decent looking cabinets, but I'm not impressed with the titles.

But don't worry about me. As long as YOU'RE happy with the haul, good job!

Mine is a manual. I was in 4th gear the whole time on last time. Overdrive bogged down real bad and 4th was no fun but I got there and back. Looks like I may be doing another run soon. Its just one game, Tetris, also in a Taito cabinet. Not as nice looking as the one you picked up, but its been a while since I played me some Tetris.

Yeah, I agree that they are'nt some of the most popular titles but the wife and I have always wanted a Tetris because we have always enjoyed playing it together. She has really been wanting a bowling game, specifically capcom bowling so thats why I got the super sports cab. The other two I have an attachment to because of my childhood. I used to love the four player version of captain commando and I played 1943 religiously on the NES back in the day.

Surprisingly the transmission in this 4 cylinder beast survived also.

I used to have a 4cyl ranger (same truck/factory as the Frontier IIRC), and I swear it was tougher than my F150... Just remember that when you load it out back like that, you are deloading the front wheels and reducing front end control.

Holy crap that's a crazy pic of the flattened coin box. Thankfully it still worked out okay. Kinda reminds me of the time my sister and her bf went with me to pick up my MK2 (has it been 6 1/2 years already?). The mk2 was flat on its back luckily because we swerved to miss a dear just miles from home. Luckily the straps held.

how does that bowling cab look? I am going to pick one up today, exactly like it.

Oh it's beautiful!! We just could not stop talking about how nice it was. The t molding is near mint, the finish is excellent and is natural wood all the way around. The inside is immaculate and is by far the cleanest of any game I have ever seen outside of HUO. The wirning is very well thought out also. It has the best looking picture that I have seen in awhile, the colors are so rich and vibrant. Unfortunately it has a picture issue that I have yet to figure out.
