I aquired a volcano project in trade for some repair work for an op near me. Unfortunately the backglasses had bad peeling, but I have an inner replacement and PBR shows having an NOS outer. Just a small section of battery corrosion that should be repairable, but it is all there and no hacks that I can see. It still had the uninstalled mylar sheet inside the cabinet. I know it's nothing to write home to momma about, but just thought I'd share it with the gottlieb fans out there.

Man, that's a lot of red, but some interesting playfield design there. They re-used the old ball gates from EMs with stubby flippers to capture the balls in the crater section looks like? LOL :)

Also see that it's got a kicker-target, like on Stargate from waaaaaaaay later. Those things rocked in Stargate, and this game is a widebody...probably needs it.

Congrats! Volcano is currently in the top 5 of my want list.

Once you get it up and running properly, you'll quickly realize that Volcano is one of the top System 80s games.

For me, it is the best.

Enjoy!

I'm hoping to get an Amazing Spiderman added in the future. There was a counterforce sitting by the volcano in the warehouse. There may be a few others there, I did not go though all of it and there were no lights.

Congrats on picking up the Cano! We play this in my pinball league and i enjoyed it so much I got one for my house. If the driver board is flakey pick up the ni wumpf!

Fun game, good score. There's a caveman on the playfield that cracks me up everytime i see him, looks funny as hell. I love when the volcano erupts during attract mode.

Volcano is a cool system 80 machine. I had one I sold to my step sister 7 years ago. Cool machine that has enough cheese to make it a classic 80's machine. Love the skeeball ramp, and the stopping of the lights. I also am a fan of the "player activated" kickback. Takes skill to save the ball!

Darn it. I'm jealous.....I've been looking for a Pink Panther for a long time. Is that the same machine that guy in Columbia had? Sell it to me!!!!

Yes it is. I had been keeping an eye out for one for several years and this one was only 50 miles away.

It's not for sale(and may never be, I'm a hoarder). I've been aquiring a few parts to shop it out this winter. It will actually play, but there are a few things to straighen up. The main one being someone soldered each wire of every connector directly to the boards(yeah I know).

Volcano is a cool cheesy system 80 pin but it has decent sound fx, 3 ball multiball, plays a little on thw slow side compared to some buy still good and fun, I have one. =p
Pfft only 5 system 80's! I have owned all at once, mars gow, bh, HH, cf, cano, oh wait just 5 for me also I guess!

Oh yeah and cano is better then haunted house, just like pretty much half all the system 80s out there since hh is over rated lol!!! Bh ftmfw!!!!!

If HH had speech and multiball, it may have been a different story. Oh and my system 80 row is only limited mainly due to space. The op I repair pins for has 3 or 4 in his warehouse that I DON'T HAVE.....YET!!!
