I was able to pick up a Harlem Globetrotters yesterday just 30 minutes from my house. The cabinet has red fade real bad, but the playfield is nice and the backglass is flawless. The game would not boot, but there was no acid damage and had 2 led flashes on the mpu, so it should be an easy fix. It needs to be shopped out, but it should be an easy project and it even had the manual. No pics yet as my camera is broke right now.

The thrid flash is for the 5101 RAM. I would try re-seating it and see what happens.

If you need a new 5101 I would suggest going with an NVRAM or FRAM adapter board instead (no batteries). Tom Callahan sells them:

I also build/sell them. Send me a PM if you would like to buy one from me. I also have a test aid board that will help you fix your MPU problem but you probably don't need one of those at this stage. That said... I still have a couple available :)

Take a look at this if you have not already:

I've been spending so much time working on that hardware lately that I know it extremely well. If you have questions ask them here and I'm sure someone will be able to provide an answer.

I had a few spare 5101's, so I put one in and that allowed the board to boot. There are a few issues with the displays reading correctly and a few broken drop targets, but nothing that can't be fixed with time. One surprise was the entire playfield was covered with mylar. I touched up the faded red on the bottom cabinet and started making a parts needed list as well.
