Ugh, so bored with the recent glut of complete crapper games I've been picking up. I almost didn't even waste the effort to take a picture of them.

Somehow, I found it in myself to at least set them up. I couldn't bring myself to power them up. I took one more picture before slipping into a boredom-related coma.

Obviously I'm kidding. I couldn't be any more excited about these two acquisitions. I have been spending so much time on low-value video games, I almost forgot how much I loved pinball (especially the acquisition of awesome games like this).

I had posted a quick picture of the Monopoly in one of the Allentown Show threads. The Terminator 3 acquisition was right around the time of the Allentown Show, but the actual pick up did not happen until today. So I figured it'd be a good time to snap a show-off pic or two. I won't power up T3 until I address a known board issue on this particular example of the game. I'll post a few more pictures (and try to get some better quality ones) once I have them powered-up.

You had me for a second! I was gonna try to get you to flip the T3! :)

NICE!!! I know how much you were looking forward to the T3.

I could squeeze the stuff together in the basement and probably have room for at least one of those :) (cough)T3(cough).

Nice pickups! Glad you found some room in the garage for them! Let me know if you need any help.

Chris

T3 rocks. I like it *much* better than T2. Faster, better flow and rules, and no dumb cannon that is critical to scoring. (The rpg on the backbox is more fun and more appropriate for a pin!)

I agree. The pins are quite boring that they can put one to sleep. Why even unwrap them??? You know that I would've been happy to relieve you of your boredom had you brought them up to me. I understand the rule of "taking one for the team." :)

Seriously... GREAT find! I played a Monopoly on location a few years ago and it was pretty good. Can't say I've ever seen a T3 on location and I haven't played it, so I can't say how I feel about that one.

Nice additions to the fam!!!

You need to sell me your TOTAN. Surely you wont have enough space now. :)

I also think T3 is the better game than T2. Better in every way EXCEPT the art. T2 artwork is totally bad ass.

Just a stupid side thing: I love the little light effect T3 does when you hit "Red" captive ball.

A glorious transistor swap and some wiring repairs, and T3 LIVES!!!

Note the awesome (and coincidental) timing of this photo in capturing the game logos being displayed on both DMDs. LOL

I haven't done any cleaning on them yet (obvious from the pics). Just placed an order for some parts to improve gameplay, once that's all fixed it's time to shop them out!

Once Chris' house is full, you can start stashing them at mine. I'll throw the couch out if I have to! ;)

Nice going!

I used to have a vid T2 keeping my T2 pin company, but sold it.

I have never seen a T3, however...I see I'm on a new quest!

Too bad you are so far away, I'd invite you over to check it out!

Games are coming along nicely. Rebuilt the RPG on T3 (might have to redo the wiring is getting short from constant breaks, needs extension). Also tore apart the auto-launcher and replaced some previously wrongly substituted parts.

Monopoly I did some switch repairs, especially in the lock-up section. I also received parts to properly repair the head hinges (seems like 50% of Stern games have some issue or another with these hinges, more than not the bolt is missing).
