OK! so I'm working on putting my 4 player cab with switcher all together and I ran into the same issues with all 3 boards.

NOT USING THE SWITCHER, as I am testing the boards individually, player 1 and 2 work PERFECT! coin up, start, everything is perfect. Player 3 and 4 however, do not coin up, and as a result, I can not select those characters to play. I am using a button on my control panel to "coin up" (add credits)

Now another weird thing, I have a start button right next to my coin up button. The start button works to select the sunset riders for player 1 and 2, but I did not wire up a start button for player 3 and 4 because the manual says, just hitting jump/or attack will select the character... I'm so lost....

I will post a video later, because I'm sure this is all confusing as hell...

the coin controls should be on the kick harness for p3 and p4 are you using this or the one on the standard jamma harness?

also the sunset riders jamma harness doesnt even have a start button on the manual, says empty

Yup, pin 1 on the kick harness is coin. Just isn't working for sunset, xmen or simpsons. It does coin up for TMNT.... Its all so weird.. I agree, Sunset riders doesn't use a start button, but I have the start button wired up in the JAMMA harness (so that NBA JAM will have a start button) but NO start button wired up on the kick harness.

I'll post a video here in a couple hours. All help is much appreciated!!

Ok! So i might have figured something out...

I found this chart somewhere on the interwebs a long time ago and had saved it to my desktop as I knew I'd be making kick harnesses out the ass for player 3 and 4. Take a look!

1 Coin 3 Violet/Stripe
2 Empty N/A
3 3 Player Left Red/Stripe
4 3 Player Right Yellow/Stripe
5 3 Player Up White/Stripe
6 3 Player Down Blue/Stripe
7 3 Player Push 1 Brown/Stripe
8 3 Player Push 2 Orange/Stripe
9 Empty (X-men Push 3) N/A
10 Empty (Sunset Riders Start) N/A
11 Empty (Sunset Riders Service) N/A
12 Empty N/A
13 Empty N/A
14 Coin 3 Ground (optional, can use 15) Black
15 Control Panel Ground Black

So it states that Pin 10 is a start for sunset riders!! It does not say anything about that pin in the friggin manual, So i hooked it up and it worked!!! I also tried this for my xmen board, and it now works!! Now I'm able to coin up from player 1 and 2 and load tons of credits, then just hit player 3 and 4 start, and there in the game!

But for some reason my simpsons board now won't power on... It did yesterday all day , perfectly fine, today, i get a quick flash on the screen and then nothing... It looks to have had some repairs on the solder side of the board, gonna let the DOC steve check it out.

Yep.
Even though it doen't say it, Sunset Riders, and X-men require a start button.
I was going to say to check to make sure you had a ground wire going to it.
That was my problem.
I felt like an idiot after I realize it.

I don't feel dumb about anything I have been doing on this thing.. For a noob, I feel like I'm cruising along pretty good!!

All it is, is trouble shooting, I just hate when I get to a part that I don't know how to work on, IE my simpsons PCB not powering up...
