FS- Xmen 6 Player

I have a Xmen 6 Player machine up for sale. Just recapped the audio section so you don't have to worry about the audio going out. Right side monitor was just recapped and new flyback installed. All buttons work and joysticks are good. Cabinet has normal wear but still looks great. Installed new casters so it's not to horrible to move around. Looking for $750.00 or B/O, Also looking for trades.

Quite possibly the coolest arcade game ever made. It takes a lot to impress me going into other people's arcade rooms, but if I saw this, I would bow down and declare them an awesome badass. If I had a house that would fit something like this, I would TOTALLY get one.

Yea this machine is sweet, not only is it huge but the game itself kicks ass too. It is impossible to play this thing with the volume cranked and not smile ear to ear.

I remember when NAMCO was blowingthem out on their web site for like $400.. About 7 years ago.

To be honest I do not recall the story, but we inherited one of my uncles routes and it was a shady overnight close down shop and sneak a moving truck in and smash n grab kinda deal. I'd say they earned it, that thing was a fucking tank. I actually have dreams about this cade man, I was a frosh in HS when we got into the "biz" - truly miss it LOL. TBH even if they let us take it i dunno where or how we'd relocate it!

Yea, I knew the guy that use to run the NAMCO Arcade around here. Was trying to pawn the one they had off on me for $400. Damn thing was near mint, but my god, what the hell would I do with it? Was thinking of mounting it to the side of the house as a spare room.

I found the link to NAMCO's sales, pretty cool that you can buy direct from their arcades. I still couldn't see why they wanted to move these so cheap before. Considering whats in the cab. if you priced it all seperate it's still way more then 400.00 on todays market.

The market for games like this is very fickle. The majority of the ones I have seen have sold for under $200. I have seen really nice ones sell for under $100. The game is a beast. The size alone turns off 98% of potential buyers. That doesn't leave you many potential buyers. Then you can pare that number down substantially because this game is impossible to ship for a reasonable price. Basically, the only way to get a good dollar amount for this game is to be lucky enough to have someone locally that is actively looking for one. Luckily you are in New York, so you just might have that potential buyer within striking distance. Too bad you aren't closer...

I've watched these on eBay for a while before posting. I've seen them sell in the range of what I'm asking. I've also seen these listed for ridiculous prices of 1500 and up nut that's just insane even for retail. Thats why I posted it as b/o. Just looking for a fair offer.

I am not saying you can't get good money. Being in NY, you have a decent chance of getting good money.

Wow! That thing is coooool! Really sweet looking. I just wanna throw some quarters in it and PLAY!
Good luck with the sale! How much does it weigh?:)

Nearly two tons!

Can you imagine trying to lift it? I think the original post stated it was on rollers which is good. But imagine trying to lift her up.

Actually - the dimensions arent that bad! I have a SH and SW cockpit that have a Depth of 73 1/2 each (24 - 25 wide) and in a way you can equate this cab...

The XMEN is 77 high (same as an EDOT!), 73 wide, 49 front to back. Not bad.

So, takes up room of nearly three games side to side. The depth is usually a non issue since you plan to have room for players in the front anyway (its 14 or so more than standard depths). Next to standard machines it bulges out, so a corner is ideal....

Compared with a cockpit its almost equal (side to side) except in a Cockpit you dont need to worry about the players standing in front of it playing since thats built in literally (player sits in it) - although you do need to leave the hatch open to get in an out on either side.
