i have a red tent with xm1801 monitor when u first turn the game on it slowly gets to the correct brightness after about ten minutes the b+ is dead on and i havent done anything to the chasis yet any help would be great thanks

do you sell a complete cap kit for these monitors if so pm me with some info and thanks for the info i will try that

could be a lack of correct b+ regulation or if it still does the same thing after a cap out.

ive done cap kits in ezs but never on a sharp xm it looks alot harder does the tube have to come off the frame and what other caps should be changed beside the basic caps that are in the kits, and were would be the best place to order from thanks

The xm1801's are not that hard to take apart. There's 2 screws in the front near the front controls, 2 on the bottom, and then the 4 on the back and the chassis will come off. Bob Roberts sells a pretty decent cap kit for that monitor thats about 7 bucks which covers a good majority of the caps that need replacing. I did 4 of them a couple weekends ago. If you haven't bought from Bob before you'll have to email him what you want and then mail out a check or money order doing it kind of old school. www.therealbobroberts.net
