I was asked to repair a couple 1801's and the asker sent along a yoke for me to use when testing (since I didn't have one). I was told I could use it on a K7000 tube (both are CR-31's), and I am doing so. I assumed that the yoke went on like other yokes, with the tabs pointing up at the anode hole, and the wires coming out the left side. Unless I have it rotated improperly?

After doing a few repairs, it is now powering up but with this picture:

I do not currently have a video signal connected, so this is just raster. It is running at 103vac. B+ seems to be maxed at 101vdc (instead of 110 which it should be). I have not capped it yet, but will be doing so.

After doing some research here, it seems that bad yokes are a common issue with 1801's. This yoke had a horizontal of about 5 and a vertical of about 14 if I remember correctly. Other pics seen in posts here look similar to this one, and the consensus seemed to be a bad yoke.

Unfortunately, I have no other, but I found a thread stating I could use a 2001 yoke if I modified the connector for this chassis. I think I might have a 2001 yoke around, but don't recall what number it should be. Anyone?

If it was blown, then I could at least take a stab at fixing it. but it looks normal...
