I just got a Orig. Xenophobe game and the sound doesnt work on it. I need help to figure out the problem and was hoping for some ideas. Here is what i know.
I read that the board does a self test on itself when you turn it on, it flashes 6 times to show there are no errors. Mine does that. After that im not sure. all the connectors seem to be connected to the power and the dual amp that it has in the case.
The speakers are getting power because i can hear them hiss. The manual said it would say on the screen if there was a sound error, but I dont see it. Any advice? I found a used board for sale but im not sure if my board is the problem just yet.
There is also a red button on the board...but im not sure what that does.
Thanks in advance,
