Hey all!

The small long board with the bulbs that run behind the tube on my Xenon, is missing
a lot of bulbs....I have some blue LEDs, can I just solder those on?

They look like this:

Thanks!!

Okay, from looking at the light board, I can see that one trace run to all bulbs, that
is probably the power line. I'll cut that trace right after the plug and insert a resistor.

The other traces must be ground. Looks like the lights are turned on in pairs.

Thanks,

Nicholas

I probably wouldn't cut the trace. You can accomplish the same thing by putting the resistor in series with the wire that connects to that trace.

Also, if you use only one resistor for all the LEDs they will be different brightness depending on how many are on. You might not notice but it's not the "right" way to do it. I also wouldn't just drop in a 120ohm resistor without considering the current rating of the LEDs and calculating the current based on that resistor.
