Hey all!
I know this might enrage som purists, but I really like microswitches....and I really
don't like the hassle of adjusting leafs. Of course I don't go through a machine swapping,
but I do replace faulty leafs with micros if possible. Like here.
So, I understood that I'm not the only one with the Xenon misfeed problem
I started thinking that the problem may lie in the last switch before the ball gets
kicked to the shooter lane.
I removed that leaf switch and it's actuator from underneath the playfield, and then
moved the 'pass-thru' switch that the ball only closes for a brief time when rolling
by. I think this switch is so close to the last switch, and so far away from the outhole
switch, that it really don't seem to matter much.
Anyway, my misfeed problems are completely gone now. And it only took a microswitch
with a long lever bent very slightly and cut a little shorter. It took 20 minutes. Then
running the wires down through the hole to the others, soldering them on, and stapling
them to the wood.
Maybe someone can use this approach.
