Xeltek Superpro II ERPOM programmer GAL help, manual?

I bought this nice piece of equipment from a member here and I have been using it for a couple of days. I have a GAL I need to program and I guess electronically erase (it does not have a quartz window). Is GAL inserted like a regular EPROM?

Anyone have a pdf of the manual?

I downloaded the latest software from Xeltek, the device list and in program help are useful, but it does not cover GAL chips.

I have a SuperPro 2000+. Sad to say but it is an absolute P.O.C at programming GAL's even though they are in the supposedly suported list (GAL6001B's). But it depends on the exact GAL you are using as to whether or not it works. Works fine with small logic such as 16V8's....just doesn't do bigger stuff properly.

Extreme majority of GAL's are electrically erasable, only real old ones were the exceptions (I do have some old UV erasable Cypress 22V10's). The programmer first erases the part before programming it... as long as you have it setup to do that. Else, you can also manually erase it with their software.

Insertion - it is inserted just like an EPROM.
