X-Men Pinball Video, What's everyone's thoughts ?

While I have not played the game, I do have confirmation that we should have no less than 3 of these machines available at CA Extreme for folks to enjoy.

See y'all there!

Love the custom animations and the theme. Hate the voicework. I am excited to play one, but I wouldn't buy one as the price is ridiculous.

why would you put the magnet infront of wolverine and the gate trap infront of magneto?
seems to be it should be the other way round

is it just me but why do the toys seem like they just keep getting bigger?

AC/DC LE seems to be a better machine from what I have seen.

It doesn't seem bad though.

And yes, the voices are terrible. Couldn't they get Cal Dodd or Steven Blum to voice Wolverine?

Does seem like they totally got that backwards. The ball lock could have been Wolverine's claws and the magnet is self explanatory for Magneto.

Wolverine toy kills it. Magneto is big, but he's in the rear center in an interesting pose. The gameplay actually looks kind of cool, but giant shiny Wolverine makes the whole thing look cheap.

I think Stern is making a mistake in general of only putting the cool extra features on the LE's.

yeah they got the characters mixed up; are those voice samples suposed to be from the game? They sound terrible!

Avengers will likely blow this away once they produce it. But that won't be until 2013-2014 most likely or when does Avengers 2 come out ? I couldn't agree more about the magneto and wolverine being mixed-up. Night Crawler Bad....mmm I mean Trolls bad! Doesn't this game have a few toys that remind you of other game(s) ? The moving ramp, the pop-up nightcrawlers (MM), Spinning Disc... Most of the features / gimmicks / toys / gadgets whatever you want to call it have already been utilized on other machines. I'm waiting for that new gadget that's like Whoa! can't believe they never thought to do that.

A ton of people are already complaining about the speech / call outs voices, I wonder if stern will release a fix / upgrade ?

I like the game, it's a throwback to something that might have came out in the mid 90's... kind of cheesy, but probably fun as hell to play. I like the comic style artwork that's basically like the hand-drawn pin artwork in the mid 90's, and the big toys don't bother me at all, I think it looks pretty cool. The DMD animations are awesome, again, in a mid-90's way.

Would be fun to play, I wish more locations still put games out.

The only thing I don't like is the different versions model of Stern. Having 3 models with a ridiculous spread in price is garbage. This is a cash grab and 1 model across the line like William's did would be preferred. I also dislike the big price tag Stern is asking but that is what it is for them to make money. The price of the Pro Models is over the top then paying 2000 - 3000 more for a few toys is absurd.

Game could be fun and I hope it does well.

Stern has said it a hundred times, the multiple models are a direct reaction to their customers desires. Different types of customers want different games for different reasons, so if that's what your customer tells you why would you be so foolish as to not deliver it? They've been very clear the 'pro' is really the operators model and the LE's are for collectors. Just about any pop culture thing ever made does that. For every action figure toy there's a 'sideshow collectibles' super toy. For every base mustang, there's a cobra. for most movies there's a 3d version.. All of which are 'upgrades' of the base product.

I would like to see game play of x-men pro, not that I'm purchasing it but just to compare. Put it this way I'm pretty positive that if they put out 1000 LE avengers they would sell. But at 8-10k shits getting crazy.

Ben Yetter has advised that John Borg confirmed Steve Blum did the Logan voicework. It could be a bad sample or crappy editing on that vid. I noticed almost all of the voices seemed a bit "muffled" or to have some digital effects. That could be it. I'm optimistic now that Steve is confirmed. Got a Wolvie LE coming and am pretty stoked. I loved that Beast dot sequence going from original form, to 90's to now.

The voiceovers, to me, sounded like they were placeholders or something. They had the same guy doing three or four different people, so I think they'll replace some of that.

If you are looking for that AC/DC LE and Premium have the Hells Bells toy which is very different.

Sure sounds nothing like Steve's wolverine, and while steve does great voice work I prefer Cal's wolverine.

It would be awesome if they got Patrick Stewart for professor X
