X-Men info shown.

You bastard, I was hoping to finally post the info first!!!!!!!!!!!

I like the retro comic book character look that I grew up with.

Ill put the info here for all to see.

Dear Ladies and Gentlemen,

I have sent you the link to our YouTube teaser video for our next game
X-Men. Many of you have told me that the teaser video was great. The game
is even better.

Our X-Men Pinball is based on the Comic Books, which have a tremendous fan
and collector following. The theme and art lend themselves to Pinball. The
art on our X-Men pinball is fantastic, bright, different than any recent
games. This game has a lot of mechanical action, with great devices,
magnets, etc.

We will make X-Men in 3 versions: 300 Wolverine numbered Limited Editions,
250 Magneto numbered Limited Editions, and a Pro model.

I am attaching photos of the 2 Limited Edition models and the Pro, along
with a Features Chart. High res pictures are available at
http://www.sternpinball.com/XMen/XMenPinballPhotos.zip

The game photos show the right side of each game, there being some different
art and characters on the left side. X-Men Wolverine LE has blue trim;
X-Men Magneto LE has red trim.

There are 3 playfield pictures. One is the Pro playfield. Two pictures are
of the LE playfield; one has the right ramp in its normal position, and one
is showing the movement of the right ramp.

X-Men Limited Edition production will begin at the end of June. Pro
production will begin at the beginning of August, timed to reach our export
markets as the September selling season begins. We expect our customers to
order Wolverine and Magneto LE's in equal numbers of each, with one
Wolverine for each Magneto and visa versa.

The Pro price will be unchanged from our last few games. As in the past we
will require a $2,000 deposit for Limited Edition games. We will call you
about the LE price. We will take your requests for specific LE game numbers
and then determine how to satisfy everyone as well as possible, knowing we
will have multiple requests for some numbers. For specified numbers
additional charges will be incurred.

Finally, I am attaching a new MAP and MSRP price list covering this X-Men
model and older models. Our MAP policy remains unchanged.

Already reaction to X-Men Pinball has been tremendous, and I know you will
do great business with this model. Even prior to this correspondence, the
requests for LE models are coming in quickly; I expect we will be sold out
of our LE's in a very few days.

Man Stern sure does pump 'em out.

I'm thinking the layout looks kind of weird, art is a bit meh, and the giant toys are sort of wtf-ish, but for all I know it could be the greatest great game ever. *shrug*

The cabinet art looks fucking awesome though.

I'd like to see one in action someday. But I'm sure it will cost around $6K so I don't think I'd buy one myself on license alone.

EDIT: Posted before the Pro pics were up. Too bad the Pro has - it looks like - no spinning magnet disc and no pop-up targets (is that it this time for major differences?). The cab art does look cooler.

Yeah, I gotta say I like the pro artwork better. The toys are a little huge, but I've very intrigued by the mechanics, the magnet in the middle of the spinning disk, the moving ramp, the Nightcrawler pop ups....

Ive been authorized to do my special deals again for KLOV members.

Standard pricing is as follows.

Pro- $4795

WOlverine LE- $7295

Magneto LE $7295

My pricing for you guys is different PM me if interested. I dont want to post it like last time.

From what I can tell, "Unique Power Colored..." to "Numbered Plaque" are ONLY on the LEs.

"Custom Molded..." to "Official Game Speech..." is on all three.

"High Definition Color..." to "Black ABS Lower..." is ONLY on the Pro.

i like the art on the pro.i would love to have one but with no spinning disk on the pro and a 7,200 price tag on the le im out on this.

I love the artwork on the pro too, but not so much on the LEs. Wonder how hard it would be to add a spinning disk on the pro (is the existing circle cutout of the playfield, or just a graphic?)

Probably just a graphic, and even if there was a hole you could drop a spinning disc assembly into, you'd need the software to support it. Even if the LE software does run on the pro you'll have a lot of other features (the ramp, the Nightcrawler pop-ups, etc.) that the software is supposed to run that just isn't there.

Like the art on the pro, but I like the features on the LE.

But...you don't play the art.

Someone made a comparison to the layout to Stargate..

Pretty creepy, but I loved Stargate's layout..so....

Anyone else find that ^ a little odd? I thought it would've been Pro first, then LEs (or at least LEs first, then Pro). Pretty near term from the official release too.

I was in for a Wolverine at first but after seeing the art I switched my order over to the Magneto LE.

It's kind of lame that they re-used the backglass art on the sides for the LE...I agree the pro does look better, but with that many features lost how can you even consider it? Especially as it doesn't look like there are many bells and whistles to this table to begin with.

on second thought...pro it is!
