Im getting a board this weekend for the 6 player X men game (Konami). Im also planning on building the cabinet (since my roomate is a master craftsmen hehe). Does anyone have/know the dimensions of the cabinet? any information will help.

I will post pics soon as I can get started

If you aren't concerned about going totally original, I'll bet you could build the same cabinet with a smaller footprint... the six player X-Men really is gigantic, you could literally sleep in the space underneath the control panel.

I say build it and take lots of pics.

how much of a challenge is it to simulate the panoramic dual monitors without the original parts?

I gather that those games were made with one monitor up top and a mirrored one on the bottom for a reason. magnetic interference?

I would think the monitors are mounted they way they are in a 6 player X-Men in order to achieve a seamless picture.

this makes sense, I was thinking that too afterward that there would be a gap from the 2 CRTs.

the mirrored monitor had like an adjustable sliding rack apparatus. never saw it on an X-Men, but on a Tecmo Bowl we had maaaaaaaaany years ago. sounds like a pain in the ass to adjust.

I would suggest two 19" and a $5 door mirror from walmart, then you would have a smaller footprint, but ya have to have the dual monitor link and the 6plr board I have the original 6 plr version and it is REDONKULAS
