Ive looked through the manual first so don't attack me ;-). First issue one of the light fixtures doesn't work bought new bulbs and only one side lights. I don't care to keep it original if its a pain to fix but Im not sure what to check.

Second I'm only getting sound from one speaker not sure if this is related to the light fixture or not. Only problem is I'm not sure how to get at the speaker to test it maybe the quick connect fell out. Anyone know how to get at the speakers?

Sounds like you need a new starter for your fluorescent bulb. You can pick them up at any hardware store.

As for the speaker, the simple thing to look at first is making sure that the X-Men PCB isn't set to mono instead of stereo (though I would think that would make one signal come from both, not just choose one). Otherwise it could be the notorious Konami audio cap issue that plagues all the boards.

Ive replaced the caps on the board. How do I switch from mono to stereo in the test menu?

I thought that it was found in the Game Settings menu, but I've been messing with so many Konami games lately I may be getting it mixed up with another. I also remembered that to have true stereo you need to plug in the auxiliary 4-pin connector found by the audio caps on the board.

I would think if you had it set to mono in a dedicated cabinet (such as the 6-player one that you can't fake lol) that the machine is wired for stereo, and if you run mono, it will only come out one side.

Test Mode -> Game Options will get you to the screen I attached.
