I'm interested in hooking up a 6 player X-Men board to 2 seperate monitors.

From what I've been told, the additional RGB out from the PCB is inverted for use with the mirror in the cab. Before I go and make a cable, just wanted to check with the knowledgable people here.

Is there a way to get the RGB out to display on a monitor correctly?

yes, you flip the horizontal yoke connection.

this varies depending on what kind of monitor you have, so you'll have to tell us what you're running.

most people mistakenly swap the vertical and horizontal connections thinking that's what is meant by "flipping them around" -- do NOT do this. you'll destroy your yoke.

I can never remember which wires are which, but I think horizontal is the red and blue wires. if you have a solid plug for all 4 wires, you'll have to break it in half. but basically you just switch red and blue around, and that outputs a mirrored image ... or in this case ... a non-mirrored image.

Thanks for the help guys.

As my monitor yoke is not in an easy place to get to, (this is an enclosed monitor, not a cab) could I get some kind of inverter similar to what is used in the classic Nintendo games to get this to work?

No,

Open the monitor up, locate the yoke connection split if necessary according to guide.

shouldn't take more than 1/2 hour.
