I recently picked up an X-Men 4-player cabinet and I'm in the process of putting the control panel back on the cabinet. Unfortunately, I wasn't able to find much online in terms of videos or instructions showing how the panel is supposed to be re-mounted.

The cabinet body has been through quite a bit over the years, so I'm not completely sure what was originally in play or what hardware is supposed to be there for a proper re-assembly.

If anyone here has photos, diagrams, or advice on how the panel should be attached to the cab, that would really help streamline the process for me.

Thanks in advance for any guidance!

The control panel obviously sits in the slot notched out of the front. You'll notice that there are some small batons in the areas I marked on your photo. One of the batons on the left hand side of your cabinet is missing and you will obviously have to replace that. Those batons have t nuts pressed into them.

There are holes inside your control panel, one at the bottom and two facing the left and right areas. Align those holes with the holes on the batons mounted to the main cabinet. Your cabinet should have been supplied with 1.5 in bolts that will thread through your control panel and into the t-nuts mounted on those batons. That's what secures your control panel.

If your cabinet did not come with those screws you can go through some of your parts spares and find one that correctly threads into the t-nut. If you don't have anything to spare you can remove one of the t-nuts, take it to your local hardware store and buy 1.5 in screws to match. Just make sure you buy a wide fender washer for each one of your screws or bolts
