more info about those x-arcade: http://www.xgaming.com/store/arcade-machines/product/x-arcade-machine-cabinet/

I could get a deal on an X-arcade machine that looks to be in perfect shape; it also comes with a 29 inches arcade CRT, which sounds pretty awesome.. But the thing is, are those things even wired for JAMMA ? Reading on the site, it seems that they run some sort of custom PC, or maybe a legit multiboard...

Anyone with actual experience on those things?

From the description it sounds like it's running a PS2.

Conversion would be somewhat of a pain, but possible.

edit: I guess it is an actual arcade monitor.

looks like your standard mame machine although it probably could be rewired for Jamma but it'd be a big pain. Judging from the description the inside probably has HDMI, component and AV hookups so you can add consoles to it.

My advice is to get an old SF2 because that would be cheaper and all you need to do is to make a PC to Jamma adapter and hack the kick harness to use it with a PC set for mame.(either that or make your own cab...and both are cheaper)

no but you can modify it... I don't know why you would do so... those controllers suck.
