is it on the board or in the cabinate.also anyone know where i can get a free manual for this .i looked but didnt have much luck.thanks

The volume control should be a white knob located on the board, just to the right of the edge connector. I don't think anyone has scanned the manual yet...at least offhand I can't recall seeing one.

I don't have one, but if you figure it out, let me know. I have a board in my NBA Jam with a 6:1 switcher...all the boards work well, but that WWF board is pretty dang loud.

In the board pic., it's the little, white, round knob on the board located in the upper right hand corner., near the three BIG BLUE caps. and the audio amp chip.

The volume pot turns left-right.

The part id # on the board for the pot is VR1.

Wow, I've never seen a double stack version of WWF Superstars. The one I had was single and had the usual QFPs from Technos.

Are you maybe thinking of WrestleFest? That was a single board configuration, but original Superstars boards are 2 board stacks that I've seen.

No, I had both Wrestlefest and Superstars and both were single boards unless my superstars was some conversion or something but it looked almost exactly like my Wrestlefest except for some wire-fu on the Superstars PCB.

I've had probably 20 boards or cabinets and they were all two board sets. If you had a 1 board set it was probably a bootleg (which is sometimes a good thing on some of these 80's Jamma games)
