WTT - Any interest in a Mario Brothers Widebody (North NJ)

Hey guys -

I have an "original" widebody Mario Brothers .. controls are great, cab is solid. no artwork (orange sides so probably was a DK) CPO is great except for a little missing green in the corner, bezel is good and marquee is good and working.

Monitor looks like it needs to be recapped and / or adjusted but shows a stable picture for the most part. Does drift a little to the left.

Not really sure what I am looking for, curious to see what is out there. If anyone has MsPac parts / cab I am looking for a winter project.. Given when I was born.. I would tend to go more towards the later 80's early 90's.. But games similar to Spyhunter, 1943, etc are definitely good. I am after the "classics" too.

Thanks for lookin!

if you have an original wide body it could of not been a donkey kong originally. Im sure some pics would help those interested

I will post some additional pics later this evening.

arcadekrazy - Yeap, thats the one. I actually swung over there during work (only 10 min away) and picked it up then. He has a mousetrap as well but the neck is snapped on the tube. Thats all I was able to tell about it, but the guy pulled em from someones basement the next town over. (I suspect they dropped it)

I really am not in any rush to get rid of the machine as it is sitting in my basement out of the way, I wanted a Nintendo cab (PC10 really)... but the game is just not my speed. I think someone else can get more enjoyment from it than I, and I can get something a little different too.

Edit: I had the original CL ad cached and pulled the crappy pic from it. I'll post the better ones that everyone wants to see later tonight.

Quick on the draw

No way I would have been able to turn it around during working hours! PM me with what you are looking for - depending on your desire to travel ("locally"), I might be able to help you track something down.

not looking to sell it i'm assuming?... What about a mame cocktail cabinet :)

I need to get rid of a Donkey Kong and Ms. Pac-man and a couple of cocktail tables I'm in the middle of restoring just to make room. But what is your price anyway? And are you sure that is a widebody? It looks narrow in the pic and the original widebody was black at the front. (I believe that the smallest of the Nintendo cabinets, which was Donkey Kong Junior was orange).

Looks like a DK conversion cab to me.

You can tell by the cropped fireball on the bezel.

Check where the speaker grill is positioned and we'll know for sure.
