Out of boredom, I went to the Super Auctions website. The site looks totally different (like a theater curtain) and the only auction listed:

January 15th, 2010

Los Angeles, California

On Behalf of: Hollywood Entertainment Museum

Movie Memorabilia ~ A Collection of Nearly One Hundred Years of

Hollywood History

Live and Online Simultaneous Auction

WTF? I guess they decided to step out of the amusement industry? Anyone know anything about this?

They have these once every few years for props including some old pins that were used in movies. I've never been to one but think Super Auctions has been doing them for quite some time.

I can't wait to see the upcoming SA calendar to see how many game auctions will b listed. I expect the number to be limited in number due to the operator shortage of games that they have for sale. As far as SA conducting other types of auctions that isn't something new for them as they have conducted prop and land auctions in the past. SA understands that in order to remain a business that offers a service they must be diverse in there service.

Well with SuperAuctions doing less arcade related auctions...thats less competition for AuctionGamesSales. Which will more than likely translate to higher prices as OPs openly shill their stuff up instead of letting things go for market value.

And on a side note..I have started to notice that where certain larger sellers advertise on CL..other would be sellers think they can get the same over enflated prices. The ads are like SPAM and should be reported as such to CL.
