WTF is this???

Interchangeable graphics and a peel-n-stick coin door!!! No way, that is just what I was looking for!

Uh wait....

Controller (not included)
Monitor (not included)

What the hell do you get for $500.....

The design itself isn't so bad but the DK artwork - lame. And why people decide to use an X-Arcade CP instead of actually making their own CP is plain laziness and looks god awful IMHO. Don't mean to offend anyone that did this to their personal MAME machine but seriously this just looks pieced together. It looks worse than my unfinished MAME machine I've had built for years :D

Just curious.. anyone know what Mame/emulator front end they are using ( shows the interface on the 3rd pic).

You remember the scene in Alien Resurrection where Ripley goes into the medical lab and sees the mutated hybrid clones in glass tanks? That's what this is.

I bet the sound on power up is "Killll...(gasp).... meeeeeeee."

Thats Maximus Arcade: http://www.maximusarcade.com/

Oh, and as far as that cabinet... I've scooped up dog turds out of my yard that look better. The thing that bothers me the most is the blasphemous widescreen DK bezel...

I don't even know how to comment on that, but I'll try... :) The DK CPO on the front looks dorky and it looks hard to actually play (the CP set-up, not DK).

Seems like replicating an existing cabinet design would have mad much more sense.

Geez, you guys complain when people take classic cabs and MAME (or 48-in-1) them, then you complain when people make their own cabs...at least no classic cab is dying in this process :D Although I do agree it's pretty ugly. I imagine he's designing it to fit the X arcade because then the buyer can just plug and play the controller in and it'll fit perfectly in the cab.

Feel sorry for whoever buys that. You know there will be someone looking to make a MAMA machine that will be all over that.

I'm very glad they didn't butcher a classic to make a mame machine, it's always a good day when someone does that to a cab that was never a decent game. By the same token, it looks like the wrong part of a sick dog's asshole, though there are definitely worse ones out there. I actually had a full body twitch when I saw the image come up, it's ghastly.

I could have done better but it was not worth my time. LOL
