Ok man.. ive literally burned through 5 pieces of 400 grit with my 6" da sander...
tried wet and dry, has slightly better results with dry..
im trying to sand down the clear dome that protects the monitor to remove some nasty scratches, then polish it back out once ive sanded with 400, 800, 1000, 3000 grits..
The problem is, there seems to be some sort of "no scratch coating" on his thing, its damn near impossible to sand off. 400 grit is aggressive enough, i dont want to go to a lower grit if i dont have to.
Is there some chemical that will take that krap off? this is insane its literally as hard to sand as glass would be.. and when some does come off it just clogs my paper..
