"Cabinet style with glass face"? Isn't that a Billy Idol song? Maybe he means cocktail? I am gonna start describing all of my games like this.

I'd guess its a cocktail and the guy doesn't know the term.

Again, I get that. It's a rhetorical question, a public display of a CLer's typed description. For entertainment purposes only. I know he means cocktail. How you ask? He has 2 other ads written up, one of them describes it that way.

It sure is a shame ol' Andy doesn't know how to use eBay... He could double his profits!

Great, now we've given him a name, like he's part of the gang. Now people will feel bad for making fun of him. That's the reason Fritz never kisses his Johns on the mouth. Next thing you know you start getting attached to them and then can't make sound business decisions. Damn You Jahahwahn.

I hear ya. I think our buddy Andy did that to instill a false sense of familiarity... It does help sales.

I'd much rather "Call Andy" than call so no-name dude selling a better described cocktail cabinet. Hell, I almost feel sorry for Andy, and by gosh, any buddy of mine that I served in 'Nam with deserves my money more than perfect strangers!

Sorry, Balki...

I spoke to Andy on the phone. He's losing his house due to foreclosure, and he's selling off some of the larger items for cash. He's received dozens of calls and emails about the Ms Pac. He already knows he undervalued it.

It is indeed a cocktail table, and it needs a cap kit, according to him. Picture is very dim and washed out. He's also stated that he's not going to be selling it until after he's repaired it b/c he now knows that it's worth much more than his listing states. Unfortunately, he had someone else post the item for him, and he hasn't gotten the chance to pull the listing just yet.

We've worked out a deal: I will take the cab from him, repair it, and consign it for sale. I will give him his profit from the sale, after I take my cut for repair and commission. He gets much more than he originally thought, I get to better my hands at repairing another monitor, and I get to play the cab while I'm repairing it :) We both win.
